Is Rollr an anti-odorant and what does that mean?

Yes - Rollr is both a deodorant and an anti-odorant. An anti-odorant works to stop the source of body odor at a microbial level, whereas a deodorant masks smells. Fortunately, Rollr is both, leaving you smelling fresh!

Is Rollr an anti-perspirant?

No - Rollr is a de-perspirant not an anti-perspirant. Our formula contains two astringents which work to tighten your pores and naturally reduce the amount you sweat without blocking them. ‘Anti’ means stops, and stopping perspiration is something only chemicals do.

How does it work with sensitive skin?

Rollr was developed specifically for sensitive skin. That’s why we excluded common irritants like bicarb of soda (sodium bicarbonate). So far we have had no reactions from testers however each body is different and there are still some allergens included in our products.

All our packaging is FSC certified, whilst the plastic parts of our bottle are made from 100% recycled plastic and BPA-free.

How are you better than wax deodorant?

Waxes often sit on top of your skin - causing stickiness, stains and ‘clagginess’. Rollr absorbs into your skin to make you feel like you’re wearing nothing at all. Waxes also cant include astringents and so do not reduce the amount you sweat. Wax refills cannot be concentrated unlike roll-ons, so the whole thing has to be shipped to you instead of just a concentrate.

Are the refills fully recyclable?

Yes - all you need to do is simply add water at home. The packaging and weight needed to get our products to you is significantly less than deodorants which ship the entirety of their formula. It means 5 of our refills takes up the same amount of space as one wax or normal roll-on refill.

How do I get refills after the kickstarter?

We will be taking orders directly through our website - Rollr.co.uk - offering a subscribe and save journey to make sure you are never caught short.

How long does a refill last?

Usually 4-6 weeks once mixed with water.

Last updated: March 06, 2023 04:58

How does the subscription work?

We’ll send you a refill pack according to your usage. We suggest starting with one refill per month, meaning a pack of three every three months.

Last updated: March 06, 2023 04:58

Why would I pay more for a concentrated refill?

By taking the water out, we have created the most efficient way to refill a deodorant. Most deodorants are mixed in a machine the size of a truck. Ours can be mixed in a bottle the size of… our bottle.

What is the best way to use Rollr?

Take a shower, clean your armpits, dry them, apply Rollr.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
